Shard Labs is bringing Lido to Polygon to enable users to stake MATIC tokens in a decentralized and secure way and use them on the secondary market — all of it with a simple click of a button on the UI. You can read about this integration that is boosting the entire ecosystem here.

This guide will walk you through how to bridge from Goerli to Mumbai testnet. We will use MetaMask as an example.

Fell free to test it out, and share your feedback with us; DM us on Twitter :)

Start by getting free tokens which you can get using the faucet. Read more in this guide.

  1. Visit Polygon Web Wallet Visit https://wallet-dev.polygon.technology for testnet
  2. Connect your MetaMask wallet and sign the message

3. Select Polygon Bridge

4. Now, select stMATIC token on Goerli network from the list, input the amount and click “Transfer

5. This process will take about ~8 minutes. We need to wait for Polygon validators to validate the bridging transaction.

6. Your tokens will show up in your wallet in Mumbai after ~8 minutes. Don’t forget to change your network and import the stMATIC (bridged) token to your MetaMask.

Note: If you are unsure how to add Mumbai to your MetaMask, visit https://chainlist.org/ and search for your desired network.

> To import stMATIC, follow this guide here.

You will also need stMATIC Mumbai address: 0xa337f0B897a874DE1E9F75944629a03F911cFbE8

Congrats! You have successfully bridged stMATIC from Goerli to Mumbai!

If you would like to integrate stMATIC in your protocol or be one of the Lido for Polygon node operators, please reach out to us here: collaborations@shardlabs.io

Our code is fully open-source, and you can check it out here: https://github.com/Shard-Labs/PoLido
